Typically conducted at five‑year intervals, in‑service inspections may be required more frequently for tanks operating in aggressive or highly corrosive environments. Using advanced ultrasonic thickness testing technologies—both manual and robotic—Vertix Reliability & Asset Management accurately monitors corrosion rates and establishes appropriate inspection intervals based on actual asset condition.
All inspections are performed in accordance with API 653 requirements to verify mechanical integrity, ensure safe operation, and support early detection of degradation.
